Retail FX broker One Trading Markets has appointed Walid Jaradat as its newest chief executive officer (CEO).
Walid brings nearly two decades of experience in the financial service industry, having worked with an array of investment firms across his lengthy career that dates back to 2002. He joins the firm from middle east-focused FX brokerage Noor Capital where he served as Chief Market Strategist and Head of Research.
“My move came after Spending 17 years in the industry so far, I have been worked with several global leading brokers as a Chief Market Strategist. My role in One Trading Markets (OTM) as CEO is a new step in my career, and it’s a big challenge as well,” Jaradat told Finance Magnets.
During his three-year tenure with the UAE-regulated broker, he was also tasked with maintaining relationships with prospective and existing clients to generate a high level of volumes.

Additionally, he has worked at several markets analysis-related roles, using his skill set to help provide trading and educational insights for his broker’s clientele. This includes a short stint as Chief Market Strategist at Boston Merchant Financial Ltd, focusing on FX, global Equities , central banks policies, bonds, and intermarket analysis.
Prior to landing at Boston, Jaradat held a similar role at UK-based CFDs provider HYCM, from December 2010 to July 2014. His appointment at the FCA-regulated broker, where he actually spent the bulk of his career, was not Jaradat’s first foray into the FX industry. Additional stops also include a stint as FX & Equity markets analyst at PalFX Information Services, as well as a senior relationship manager at Orient Financial Brokers.
