Mina Samir Joins Windsor Brokers as MENA Business Development Head
Windsor Brokers has enhanced its leadership in the Middle East and North Africa region with the appointment of Mina Samir as the Regional Head of Business Development.
Windsor Brokers offers retail customers trading services with forex and CFDs instruments. It operates in the MENA region with authorization from the Jordan Securities Commission, which was acquired in 2018. Apart from that, the broker is also licensed in Belize, Cyprus, Seychelles and Kenya.

Laoura Salveta Joins Red Acre as CMO after Short Stint at BridgerPay
Laoura Salveta has joined Red Acre as its Chief Marketing Officer. Salveta left BridgerPay in October after six months, having joined the payment operations platform provider in May.
The executive announced her new role at Red Acre on Thursday. So far in her career, she has worked for a number of financial firms including Cyprus-based online broker, FXPRIMUS.
Before BridgerPay, Salveta worked for over five years as the CMO and Director at 120ADVERTISING.COM, a boutique marketing agency. Between April 2015 and November 2016, she served as the CMO at FXPRIMUS.

Oval Money Hires OANDA’s Ella Gumus as Senior Affiliate Marketing Manager
Oval Money has hired Ella Gumus as its Senior Affiliate Marketing Manager. Previously, Gumus held the same role at OANDA for almost two years.
The executive announced her new role at Oval Money on Wednesday on LinkedIn. Also, she had left OANDA earlier in June.
Since starting her marketing career in November 2012, Gumus has worked as a Marketing Manager for a number of online trading companies. Before OANDA, she was the Global Affiliate Marketing Manager at GAIN Capital for two years and eight months.

ADSS Promotes Hasan Hamd to Institutional Sales Director
ADSS Securities promoted Hasan Hamd to the position of Director of Institutional Sales. He is based in Abu Dhabi.
Hamd has been working at ADSS for more than eight years. He joined the Abu Dhabi offices of the broker in November 2014 as the Vice President of the Institutional Desk for eFX Liquidity Coverage. Later, he assumed the role of Senior Vice President of Institutional eFX and CFD's Sales.

IG Group Promotes Manuel Barbero to Global Head of Acquisition & Media
IG Group has promoted Manuel Barbero to the position of Global Head of Acquisition and Media. Previously, Barbero was IG Group’s Global Head of Media for Performance Marketing.
The executive announced his promotion on Tuesday on LinkedIn. Barbero joined IG Group in December 2014 as the Senior Paid Search Manager. The new position is his fifth’s role with the online trading services provider.
Before IG Group, the marketing leader worked for over two years at Covario (now i-Prospect), first serving as an Associate Manager of Paid Media Services, and later as Manager of Paid Media Services for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Aris Christoforou Leaves Spotware as Head of Marketing
Aris Christoforou, who joined Spotware Systems last February as the Head of Marketing, has stepped down from the post and separated from the company. His resignation came less than 11 months after joining the company.
However, he did not specify any reason behind his exit from the trading technologies provider. On top of that, he is not joining any other company immediately as he actively seeks new roles.

Steen Blaafalk Announces Retirement from Saxo Bank
The Chief Risk and Compliance Officer at Saxo Bank, Steen Blaafalk has announced his retirement from "a long carrier within [the] banking and trading the past 42+ years."
Blaafalk has been working at Saxo for the past nine years. He joined the Danish brokerage as the Chief Financial and Risk Officer. Additionally, he is sitting on the board of two Saxo Group companies, Saxo Bank Switzerland and Milan-based BG Saxo. Despite retirement, he will continue his directorship roles.
