XS.com, a forex and contracts for differences (CFDs) broker, has strengthened its team with the latest hiring of Ahmed Negm as the Head of Market Research for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

According to the press release shared with Finance Magnates, his role will be to help the broker's retail and institutional clients make more informed investment decisions across a range of asset classes. Further, he will continue to appear in English and Arabic media to provide market analysis and represent XS.com.

"I am eager to bring my expertise and knowledge to the team and help drive the company's success in the industry," said Negm.

"I am looking forward to collaborating with my new colleagues and using my skills to help support XS.com's retail, and institutional traders with their investment decisions whilst they navigate the ever-changing market landscape. This is a new chapter, and I am eager to see what the future holds."

XS.com was originally established in Australia in 2010, but it is now headquartered in Cyprus. It offers brokerage services with licenses in Australia, Cyprus, and Seychelles. Apart from retail counterparty trading, the company provides institutions with liquidity , technology, and other white-label offerings.

Negm's hiring came within a week of XS.com announcing the appointment of Mohamad Ibrahim as the Group Chief Executive.

An Experienced Market Researcher

Negm has worked in the brokerage industry for a decade and at the MENA offices of several broker brands. He joined XS.com from the Egypt offices of FBS, where he was the Head of the Research Department. Before that, he held similar positions at Orbex and One Financial Markets for years.

According to his Linkedin profile, he entered the industry in 2012 and then joined the Cairo offices of Admiral Markets Group a year later as a Trainer and Technical Analyst. Additionally, he worked as the Chief Market Analyst at Dubai-based Earnex, which offers online futures and options trading solutions.

"Ahmed's expertise and passion for understanding the intricacies of the financial markets will be invaluable as we continue to grow our client base and expand into new jurisdictions," said XS.com's new CEO, Ibrahim. "I'm confident that through his longstanding industry experience and deep knowledge of the financial markets his addition to the company will bring fresh perspectives and drive our success in the industry."
