Tomer Niv, Ex-Director of Global Crypto Solutions at eToro, Joins Entree Capital

Tomer Niv left eToro after working in the company for over 3 years. Niv worked as eToro's Crypto Business Development Manager in 2019. Now, he is joining Entree Capital, a Tel Aviv, London, and New York-based venture capital.

In 2021, Niv became the Director of Global Crypto Solutions. Part of his role included new listings, market research, communicating with liquidity providers, monitoring crypto regulatory changes and more.

Niv posted the following on his social media: "I'm about to drop the mic - this is my last month at eToro, and I’d like to thank all the eTorians for being part of my journey, and special thanks for the opportunity to Yoni Assia, Doron Rosenblum, Jonathan Dayan and Elad Lavi.

"It was both a gift and an honor for me to lead the crypto strategy and business of such a successful enterprise. Looking back at our product offering growth in the past 3 years, I had the privilege to take part in major achievements such as listing many new crypto assets, creating crypto smart portfolios, building eToroX exchange, strengthening our custody infrastructure, paving the way for crypto regulation and of course, exploring the metaverse and curating our NFT collection.

"I will try to take the next two weeks off the grid in order to regain powers for my new adventures, where I’ll continue to advise and mentor crypto startups. More details soon :)"

Tomer Niv Future Plans

We reached out to Niv to comment on his experience in eToro, views on the crypto markets and future plans.

"My journey at eToro was both exciting and fulfilling. It was a great honor to be part of a talented team which achieved several major milestones.

"I believe that in the upcoming years the crypto industry will keep on growing towards mass adoption, institutionalization and assimilation with every aspect of our day to day lives, culture and commerce.

"I plan to keep working and building within the crypto ecosystem, and a formal announcement will be given at the end of April."
