Sadia Ricke Joins Standard Chartered as Group Chief Risk Officer
Standard Chartered has recently announced its choice of Sadia Ricke as its new Group Chief Risk Officer.
Ricke will join Standard Chartered on 1 February 2023 and will be based in London.
In her new role, she will report directly to Bill Winters, Standard Chartered’s Chief Executive Officer. Ricke’s appointment is subject to regulatory approvals.

Michael Levine Joins Tools for Brokers as Vice President of Sales UK
Tools for Brokers confirmed today that it has selected Michael Levine as its Vice President of Sales UK.
In an official announcement shared with Finance Magnates, Tools for Brokers noted that as well as Levine's main responsibilities, he will be in charge of the MENA region to facilitate the company’s global growth.
In his professional career of more than a decade, Levine worked in the sales department of several leading financial firms. The newly picked VP of Sales UK is joining the London office of Tools for Brokers. In his new role, Levine will work closely with other team members to build strong relationships with clients and regional partners.

Kraken Names Dave Ripley as CEO as Jesse Powell Becomes Chairman
Kraken announced the appointment of Dave Ripley as the new Chief Executive Officer who is taking over the apex position from the Co-Founder, Jesse Powell. Powell will now become the Chairman of the exchange’s board.
Previously, Ripley joined Kraken in October 2016 as the Chief Operating Officer.
He is taking over as CEO when Kraken is going through an expansion phase and reportedly facing a federal investigation in the United States for the alleged violation of sanction rules.

AlpFin’s Soren Klausen Joins PrimeXM as Head of Global Sales
Soren Rosenkrantz Klausen has joined PrimeXM as its Head of Global Sales.
Klausen joined AlpFin in August 2020 and departed from the brokerage after two years and two months.
He announced his new appointment on Wednesday on the professional networking site, LinkedIn.
The executive is stepping in the shoes of Andreas Charalambous who departed PrimeXM in 2020 to join multi-asset liquidity provider Broctagon Fintech Group.

Startup Crossover Markets Appoints Instinet CEO as Strategic Advisor
Crossover Markets Group has appointed Ralston Roberts as its Strategic Advisor.
Anthony Mazzarese, the Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer of Crossover Markets Group, announced Ralston’s new post on Wednesday.
Earlier in April, Crossover Markets was launched by Mazzarese, Brandon Mulvihill and Vlad Rysin, two former Jefferies and one Euronext FX employee, respectively.

ZuluTrade Promotes Efstathios Xenos as Vice President of Growth
ZuluTrade has promoted Efstathios Xenos as the Vice President of Growth. Previously, he was the company’s Head of the Institutional Department since he joined the organisation in January 2022.
In the new role, Xenos will drive client and customer acquisition, engagement and retention with the development of new strategies and execution of them. Moreover, he will be in charge of increasing the company’s market share and reaching growth targets by working with other teams.
Based in Athens, Greece, Xenos has worked with a few other financial services companies in his decade-long career.

United Fintech Hires Chris Codo as Senior Relationship Manager
United Fintech announced on Thursday the appointment of Chris Codo as a Senior Relationship Manager based in London.
Codo will focus on selling to his relationships and managing the company’s major clients.
Codo spent more than two decades in the industry and has extensive experience in enabling hedge funds and asset managers to improve execution, workflow and efficiencies.
He joined United Fintech from CME Group, where he was the Senior Director and focused on selling to hedge funds. Before that, he was the Director of the EMEA region at FXall.

Karim Malas Leaves Amana to Join CFI Dubai as Global Operations Head
Credit Financier Invest onboarded Karim Malas as the Global Head of Operations earlier this month and is based in Dubai.
As seen on his Linkedin profile, Malas brings over ten years of industry experience to his new role. He worked with multiple other brokerage brands before.
He joined CFI from Amana Capital, where he spent almost nine years. There, he joined the broker’s Beirut office in February 2014 as a Customer Service Manager and was promoted to Director of Operations.

Michael Bogoevski to Head CMC Markets’ APAC and Canada Distribution
CMC Markets has appointed Michael Bogoevski to Head of Distribution for APAC and Canada. Formerly, he was the broker’s Head of Singapore.
He joined the London-headquartered broker in September 2013 as the Head of Sales Trading for the APAC and Canada parts. He was then elevated to Head of Singapore after four years.
Earlier at CMC, Bogoevski spent more than five years as part of the broker’s Institutional Business Development Team and handled wholesale stock broking and derivatives like options, forex and contracts for differences (CFDs).
