TopFX Welcomes Head of Institutional Sales

TopFX has been active in the retail FX/CFD market since 2010 and enables its clients to trade more than 1,000 financial instruments. In addition, it offers liquidity solutions to other brokers and institutional clients, serving 180 industry participants to date.

“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Director of Institutional Sales at TOPFX,” Pelehrinis wrote on Monday on social media. According to her LinkedIn profile, Pelehrinis previously worked for Integral Development Corp. as the Vice President of Sales operations in EMEA.

In the past, she was connected to many popular FX/CFDs brokers, starting a finance career with ZuluTrade back in March 2008 as the Director of Business Development. She spent three years there, then moved on to IronFX, iFOREX and again to ZuluTrade as the Head of Institutional Sales between May 2018 and June 2021.

Pelehrinis is a University of Illinois Chicago graduate who obtained a bachelor’s degree in marketing. In addition, she holds a Series 3 license from the National Futures Association in the United States.

Global Heads of Retention and Sales in TopFX

The Cyprus-based FX/CFD brokerage is continuing its hiring spree, which started a year ago. In March 2022, TopFX welcomed Rachelle Matta back to the company, where she returned as the Global Head of Retention. While away from TopFX, Matta spent four years and three months tracking anti-money laundering compliance for the Bank of Beirut and the Arab Countries (BBAC), a Lebanese commercial bank.

The news came just a few weeks after the broker hired Muhammad Asim as its new Head of Global Sales. In the past, he worked at other industry players, namely Tastytrade and Pomelofx.

Brokers Strengthen Their Sales Teams

TopFX is not the only broker that has decided to expand and strengthen its sales and marketing division in recent weeks. A similar move has been made by Invast Global, which has hired Tiffany Besnard as the Director and Head of Hedge Fund Sales in APAC.

Last week, BDSwiss elevated one of its marketing executives, Marc Suárez, to the position of Marketing Manager for LATAM. Meanwhile, the Lirunex forex brokerage has hired Waleed Salah as its new Head of Sales for the MENA region.

In January, Fred Scala, a well-known executive in the forex trading industry, was onboarded by Trading Technologies as a Managing Director in charge of B2B sales. He brings around 37 years of experience from the forex trading industry.
