XS.com Welcomes New Senior BD Manager
XS.com has announced the appointment of a new Senior BD Manager. Gloria Cheong, who previously held a similar role in HFTX Limited, Zenfinx and Vantage, joined the company in June.
“Welcome to our team Gloria Cheong! You bring a unique perspective to our team that can help us reach new heights,” XS.com wrote in a LinkedIn post.
HSBC Employs Senior Executives
HSBC has appointed JPMorgan and Bank of America industry veterans to fortify its payment business. Martijn Stoker, formerly the EMEA the Head of Liquidity and Account Solutions at JP Morgan, will be the Global Head of HSBC’s Global Payment Solutions and Liquidity and Investment Solutions.
Stoker is scheduled to join HSBC's London office in October 2023, a strategic move designed to strengthen the bank's payment business, which reported revenue of $4 billion in Q1 2023.
Terraform Labs Appoints New CEO
According to reports, Chris Amani, a veteran team member at Terraform Labs, has been appointed as the company's new CEO amidst Co-Founder Do Kwon's legal issues. Amani has been with the company since 2021 and has held various key positions, including COO and CFO.
Prior to joining Terra, Amani served as the CEO of the scheduling solution provider, Humanity. Despite his appointment as the CEO in April 2023, Amani's new role has been publicly confirmed only now, while Kwon remains the principal shareholder of Terra.
Yonesy Núñez Appointed CISO at DTCC
Yonesy Núñez has been appointed as the new Managing Director and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC). Núñez will be leading Information Security and Technology Risk Management as DTCC pushes forward with its technology modernization efforts.
Prior to joining DTCC, Núñez served as CISO at Jack Henry & Associates and held key positions at Wells Fargo, Citi, and Price Waterhouse Coopers.
Velocity Trade Onboards New Director
Velocity Trade, a global broker-dealer, has strengthened its management by onboarding Will Robbins as a Director. Based in Sydney, he has already assumed the role.
Robbins joined Velocity Trade from IS Prime Limited, where he was the Head of Asia for more than six years. He was a Senior Institutional Sales at Itiviti (then Ullink). Other companies he worked at include Investec, Argonaut, Renaissance Capital, and Aon.
TS Imagine Hires Christian Dietmann for Its UK Sales Team
TS Imagine, a global provider of trading, portfolio, and risk management solutions, has announced the appointment of Christian Dietmann to its EMEA sales team.
Dietmann will focus primarily on UK sales, bringing his experience from previous roles at TP ICAP's Parameta Solutions and Liquidnet Investment Analytics. The move aims to bolster TS Imagine's sales capabilities in the UK market
Joshua Cater Joins Bloomberg
Experienced FX professional, Joshua Cater, announced today (Monday) that after nearly five years, he is leaving the London Stock Exchange Group and joining Bloomberg's eFX Sales, Electronic Trading FXGO division.
“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as eFX Sales - Electronic Trading FXGO at Bloomberg!,” Cater commented on his social media.
Previously, he has worked at State Street, Western Union Business Solutions, and City Index, where he held various roles including FX Dealer and Sales Lead in the FX divisions.
Broadridge International Appoints New President
Broadridge Financial Solutions has announced the appointment of Mike Sleightholme as the President of Broadridge International. Based in London, Sleightholme will oversee customer support and the company's growing technology and data solutions portfolio throughout the EMEA and Asia Pacific region.
His responsibilities will include solutions supporting capital markets trade lifecycle, global governance and communications, and asset management, underscoring Broadridge's commitment to leading innovation in fintech .
