Besides that, for nearly three years, Panayi was the Head of Legal Compliance for TOPFX LTD based in Limassol from 2019. In this role, he was responsible for designing internal practices, measures, procedures, and controls for preventing money laundering and terrorist financing.

The University of Bedfordshire law graduate has also worked for other notable industry brands. Some of them include Maxiflex, LG Zambartas LLC, and Hill Dickinson LLP.

In September, XTB collaborated with the Swedish football legend Zlatan Ibrahimović following another addition of legendary goalkeeper Iker Casillas to its ambassador team.

XTB Expands Offerings in New Partnerships

In the partnership, the company introduced a media campaign featuring Ibrahimović as its brand ambassador. The move came amid the fintech firm’s 20th-anniversary celebrations and the launch of a new logo.

Meanwhile, XTB recently released its preliminary and operating financial report for the third quarter, posting an expansion in client acquisition and profit during the period. The firm added 108,000 new clients, a 60% boost year-over-year. Consolidated net profit was PLN 203.8 million, almost double the earnings from the previous year.

In October, XTB launched two new services as part of its expansion. These include a virtual wallet with a multi-currency card and Individual Retirement Accounts for Polish users. Notably, the firm’s mobile wallet featuring multi-currency cards is already operational in Portugal and the Czech Republic.
