Ebury, a global fintech company that powers cross-border transactions, has announced its newest sports partnership with the Italian football club Parma Calcio 1913. Ebury became the official training partner for the rest of the current 2022/2023 game season.
Although Parma currently plays in the second Italian football division, Serie B, it has a history of many successful tournaments since its inception over 100 years ago. The club's best years were between 1992 and 2022. Back then, Parma won the national Copa Italia Cup three times, the UEFA Cup twice, and the European Super Cup as well as the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup once.
As a training sponsor, the Ebury brand will appear on the team's training kit and shirts.

International Payments Company After Rebranding
Ebury, a specialist in international payments , FX risk management and business lending, was established in 2009. Since then, the company has expanded its presence to 21 countries and 32 branches. Transaction volumes for 2021 reached $21 billion.
In late August, the firm announced that its alternative investments division had undergone a rebranding to Ebury Institutional Solutions. The move was intended to underscore Ebury's strong emphasis on growing its alternative investment business.
"Ebury's proposition allows managers to deploy capital globally allowing them to execute their investment strategies quickly and efficiently," the company noted in August.
Earlier this year, Ebury invested β¬800,000 in KYC startup LoopingOne. A month earlier, it acquired Bexs to expand its global payment offering in Brazil. Bexs is a locally-originated financial technology startup.
