Ecommerce search startup to challenge Google and Bing in product searches

Newly launched Ecommerce search engine benipal.com has released its initial alpha version.

The search engine has been in development for the past 4 years and is built around contextual, self-healing relationship search with natural language capabilities based on advanced machine intelligence and deep learning. Differing from direct competition like PriceRunner, benipal encourages users to search for items "any which way they like", similar to conventional organic web search engines like Google and Bing.

User can search for products by unique identifiers, brands, product models, specific products sold only by specific merchants or brands, color, size, price and any combination of the specified terms. The more specific and complex the search, the more accurate the result will be.

"Google and Bing deliver this impression of being fair and balanced, but that is not true. They are massive advertising platforms that happen to be search engines, pushing merchant products higher or lower based on their PPC bid revenue," stated a press release from benipal.

When comparing themselves to Ecommerce offerings from search giants like Google and Bing, benipal emphasizes the importance of user requests compared to Marketing and company placements. The search engineโ€™s primary goal is to offer accurate search results based on the parameters entered by the consumers and not promotional placement.

โ€œMy algorithms do something which has been the so called holy grail in search, understanding user intent and the meaning of the query itself,โ€ benipal founder Sukhbir Benipal.
