Bitcoin wallet chrome extension KryptoKit just got simpler with a new ‘two-click’ payment feature.
Canada based KryptoKit partnered with US Bitcoin payment processor BitPay to incorporate the new payment feature. The partnership consists of integrating Bitpay’s merchant directory. The new payment feature was unveiled over the weekend at the first North American Bitcoin Conference in Miami.
The directory integration will work when a user is on one of directory’s merchant websites. Once on the site KryptoKit will detect the merchant and the relevant Bitcoin addresses and create a list of payment options in the extension window. Afterwards the user simply clicks on the item they are interested in and clicks send. More BitPay merchants are said to be added to KryptoKit soon.
KryptoKit solution is one of the simplest Bitcoin payment methods. No QR scanning or copy-pasting addresses required.
“As Bitcoin becomes more universally known and accepted as currency, we saw a clear need to have a single, clean and easy to use resource for finding businesses that welcome cryptocurrency,” added KryptoKit co-founder Anthony Di Iorio.
KryptoKit is a free Google Chrome extension and currently has a 5 star rating. No registration is required and funds are stored locally and securely on the specific machine.
In recent news BitPay along with TigerDirect processed over $500,000 in Bitcoin transactions in less than 3 days.
