PayPal encourages online business though education

With the objective of digital literacy for small to medium enterprises, PayPal begins its education campaign in Australia, third year running.

In response to a survey commissioned by PayPal which revealed that SMEs are avoiding the technological evolution of their businesses owing to their limited digital literacy, the campaign focuses on online payment services, among other things. Information is given through free online webinars and seminars and PayPal has created a website to drive online business.

According to Jeff Clementz, PayPal Australia’s MD, “With exciting new technologies emerging every day it is more important than ever that we continue our commitment to supporting Australian small business with the resources necessary to take advantage of every opportunity the internet affords.”
