SEKUR.me. Secure online payments in seconds

Mobile Payments are booming right now, but one of the issues that are preventing it from becoming more mainstream is convenience. Having small cumbersome keyboards to input your credit card details is a hassle. The inconvenience of entering card details via a mobile device seems to put quite a few off ease, and a majority of shoppers still prefer the simplicity of full-fledged computers when placing an online purchase.

SEKUR.me (pronounced “Secure me”) has found a safe and secure solution to allow mobile checkouts in seconds. To login initially, the user scans a QR code from their computer screen, or enters a PIN code that is generated. The payment process is similar, the user, when clicking the “Buy with SEKUR.me” button, the shopper is given a PIN code to verify the device. After the device is verified the shopper can simply continue shopping with the click of a single button.

SEKUR.me’s 2 factor authentication process, dubbed “FonePrint”, creates a digital fingerprint for your device, and is 100% accurate, and can assist in reducing fraud.

With more payment options being simplified to accommodate smartphone shoppers, like MasterPass, and PayPal, we should expect to see more companies entering the market with new and innovative ways for us to securely place online payments through our phones and tablets
