With the Finance Magnates Africa Summit (FMAS:23) right around the corner, FMevents has launched a new local partnership with the University of Johannesburg. The two entities will be collaborating ahead of and during the landmark event, which is scheduled for May 8-10, 2023 at the luxurious Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The University of Johannesburg (UJ) is one of the largest contact universities in South Africa. It is a diverse, inclusive, transformational, and collegial institution, with a student population of over 50,000, of which more than 3,000 are international students from 80 countries worldwide.

Local Partnership Emphasizing Opportunities for Next Generation

With four campuses, seven faculties viz., Education, Law, Humanities, Art, Design and Architecture, Health Sciences, Science, Engineering, and the Built Environment; and a College of Business and Economics, the university offers world-class, internationally recognized academic programs based on curricula informed by cutting-edge developments in both undergraduate and postgraduate education.

The new partnership between FMevents and UJ represents a growing effort to explore and develop new opportunities and mentor the next generation of leaders in South Africa. Of note, all onsite helpers for FMAS:23 will be from UJ. This collaboration will be on full display at the FMAS:23.

FMAS:23 is expected to see upwards of 3000+ attendees, 70+ exhibitors, 100+ brokers, and 50+ speakers. The marquee event constitutes an unparalleled opportunity for local students from UJ to engage with the best talent and personnel across multiple industries in the financial sphere.

Why Should You Attend FMAS:23?

As one of the largest events of the year in Africa, FMAS:23 provides several unique benefits for prospective attendees and industry luminaries looking to make a splash in Africa. Attendees can expect countless opportunities to engage, interact, and network with standout companies, C-list executives and thought leaders.

This includes industry-leading brands across four industry verticals, with a particular emphasis on retail and institutional FX space, CFD brokers, liquidity providers, affiliates & IBs, regulators, startups, VCs, investors and traders, leading marketers & educators, and much more.

All guests can also expect to see the biggest brands from the online trading space, fintech, payments, and crypto sphere, all with the collective goal of developing and exploring the future of the African continent.

The FMAS:23 features a curated content focus and agenda that is designed to appeal to all segments of attendees and participants in the region. Like all FMevents, FMAS:23 will offer something for event veterans or first-time attendees.
