CFTC launches its new site

While nothing too exciting I think it's still worth mentioning here - CFTC has launched a pretty innovative website design something that I wouldn't expect to come from a government agency. The flashy design reminds me of some broker site designs which I think convey a more transparent and open approach to visitors. The new design makes it easier to find the information you need about the agency itself, its history and rulings.

The new design is now in striking contrast to the NFA's old fashioned look. Given the NFA's multi-million budget and the high fees it charges from the brokers just for membership, you'd think they can afford a better site design.

Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) is an independent agency with the mandate to regulate commodity futures and option markets in the United States.
