Forex Factory makes several important changes to its Trade Explorer

After launching Trade Explorer as a Beta almost 4 months ago Forex Factory has finally completed all the testing and many new features are now available.

Trade Explorer is an online interface that connects with your MT4-based brokerage account to put hundreds of metrics and over 60 graphs at your fingertips. Explorer not only helps you evaluate your historic trading performance, but it automatically synchronizes with your brokerage account to give you real-time analytical capabilities. View a sample Explorer or create your own.

Trade Explorer is Forex Factory's answer to myfxbook metheoric rise out of nowhere. But it's not the end of story as newly added features are indicative of FF's direction here. While some features are nice to have - like deciding where you place the Explorer on FF's homepage or other tabs, other features like Thread Linking finally make full use of FF's humongous traffic and client stickiness. Trade Explorer can now be linked to any public Forum thread and once linked will appear on top of it allowing member discussion beneath. While FF is many things its forums and trader discussions are certainly one of its most unique and famous features. myfxbook y for now lacks the massive number of members and traffic that FF is enjoying and FF here is trying to capitalize on its main traditional assets while introducing innovative features.

Unfortunately the number of clients using Trade Explorer are not publicly available so it would be hard to see how it competes with myfxbook but I'm certain that Thread Linking will give it a significant boost. FF also should not stop here, I'm sure it doesn't, and see how it takes Trade Explorer even one step further making sure it's ahead of the competition.
