FxPro Expands its Browser Widget Support to Opera and Safari
Finance Magnates

Online Forex and CFDs broker FxPro announced today on its official blog that FxPro Tools is now available as a browser extension for Opera and Safari. Previously the widget was accessible for Chrome and Firefox users only.

The extension includes a wide range of tools which retail traders use on a daily basis. According to the brokerage’s official statement, it includes an economic calendar (with a description of each indicator and historical readings with chart presentation), daily market analysis, macroeconomic commentaries and FX calculators (for swap, pip value, required margin, currency conversions).

Users can also get access to real-time asset quotes (mostly currencies) and information about clients’ active positions – the percentage value of traders’ sell- and Buy-Side positioning on the particular instruments. Additionally, the widget allows customers to open a brokerage account or to move to one of FxPro’s three web trading platforms (MT4, cTrader or SuperTrader).

The FxPro Tools browser extension was first introduced to Google Chrome in July 2014. The Mozilla Firefox version appeared a few months later in January 2015. All of the current versions – including those compatible with Safari and Opera – offer exactly the same functionality and services. The add-on is currently available in three languages – English, Russian and Chinese.

In February, Finance Magnates wrote about FxPro’s offering update, when the brokerage announced the deployment of Solace system messaging products to power its infrastructure. The newly presented solutions replaced the Kaazing, Zero MQ and ActiveMQ services that FxPro had previously relied upon.
