Peter Leonidou has been appointed Senior Global Sales Manager at Leverate, to be based in Cyprus.
Mr. Leonidou comes to Leverate from Saxo Bank, where he served as Senior Manager and Director. While at Saxo, he was Head of Corporate and Retail Sales for the CEE Region. At Leverate, he will be responsible for the financial Technology Provider ’s B2B sales in Europe, the MENA, and the United States.

According to his Linkedin profile, Mr. Leonidou has over 15 years’ experience within the investment sector in both the US and Europe, dealing with developing businesses within financial institutions. Prior to Saxo, he was Chief Sales Officer at ForexTime and Head of Sales at Alpari FS.
Leverate has been in the news recently for the fortification of its Asian operations, which culminated in the establishment of a new branch in Shanghai. In March, the company announced that its CEO, Ran Strauss, is stepping down. A replacement has not yet been named.
The company recently changed its ownership structure, with Simon Kukes, a high ranking Russian-American executive, joining the firm’s board of directors and holding 12.5% of its stock.
