Some forex traders are so good they get kidnapped!

From a 'funny if it wasn't so sad' story that came out of Russia:

In Kalmykia (region in Russian) three people were arrested for kidnapping a programmer who developed a successful Forex trading program.

The 3 Chechen citizens were detained at a traffic police checkpoint in Elista when trying to to move the 42-year-old programmer in Ingushetia, whom they tried to force to make them money.

Igor Savanchuk developed a computer program that successfully traded the foreign exchange market. For two months Igor worked in Igushetia for the Chechens, earning them money however after he learned of his wife's illness, which required constant care, he decided to return home to the Volga city of Volgograd region.

2 days after his return the three men arrived to this home, beat him, tied him up and forced him into the car.

At a traffic police checkpoint in the city of Elista, the car was stopped for document checks. The victim got out of the car and asked the police for help. During questioning, he explained that in the past two months he worked for the suspects, however after deciding to retire, he was abducted - the Senior Assistant Head of Media Relations SU TFR in the Volgograd region Natalia Kunitskaya, commented the Life News.
