ADS Securities, the Abu Dhabi-based provider of FX and CFDs trading services for both the institutional and retail segments, has created another promotional video with a globally renowned actor. Its latest video called "Dreams" features Adrien Brody - which probably cost the firm quite a lot in relevant terms.
The new world of Online Trading , Fintech and marketing – register now for the Finance Magnates Tel Aviv Conference, June 29th 2016.
In case you did not know, Brody is an Hollywood producer and actor that became the youngest person ever to win an Academy Award for Best Actor, at age 29, for his leading role in Roman Polanski's The Pianist in 2002.
While most other brokers seem to rely only on sports stars and teams, especially via football sponsorship, ADS Securities appears focused on tapping into the brand potential of screen actors. Just in February of this year the brokerage released a commercial with Baywatch legend David Hasselhoff.
Unlike the very comedic commercial with "the Hoff", the Brody video is much more artistic and serious in tone. The new ad is apparently meant to show how traders are chasing the good life and fulfilling their dreams.
Hasselhoff mostly appears in parody firms, sometimes as himself, since his glory days of running on a beach in slow motion have passed. The new actor is considered a serious artist as well as a well paid one as back in 2005 Brody received $10 million for his role in King Kong.
