Australian football team Sydney FC said on Tuesday that they would be strengthening their partnership with retail broker AETOS Capital.
The foreign Exchange and contracts for difference brokerage has been sponsoring Sydney FC for two seasons.
As the Australian football team’s main sponsor, the broker’s logo is printed on the front of the club’s jerseys.
Ahead of an Asian Champions League (AFC) game against Chinese team Shanghai SIPG, the broker and club discussed their business relationship.
“We are driven to meet social responsibilities,” said AETOS chairman Mike Thomas. “AETOS [has been working] with football [teams] since the 2017 AFC Champions League.
“Through AETOS’ support and investment, we help to grow football in Australia and provide the best pre-match preparation for the players to participate in these international competitions.”

Sydney FC’s coach also discussed the partnership with AETOS at a press conference in Shanghai this Thursday.
"We are delighted that AETOS Capital Group extended AFC Champions League partnership with us in the 2019 season,” said head coach Steve Corica.
“Sydney FC always strive to be the best and to win recognition from football fans in [the] Asia Pacific region.”
Having heaped praise upon his team’s sponsor, Corica then handed Thomas a Sydney FC jersey with an AETOS logo on it.
“I am very proud to watch the game dressed in the jersey with AETOS’ logo and my name printed on,” said Thomas.
“We wish Sydney FC all the success in tomorrow’s match, and continue to be the leader of Australian football in Asia backed by the partnership with AETOS.”
