Alchemy Markets, which offers brokerage services to retail and institutional clients, announced on Thursday its latest sponsorship deal with English football club Watford FC. The broker has gained the status of the club’s Official Partner.
According to the terms of the agreements, the London-based broker will receive promotional slots during the match days of the football matches in both the Premier League and the FA Cup. Its branding will appear on the club’s LED digital perimeter boards and post-match interview backdrops.
Commenting on the sponsorship deal, Nick Kundnani, a Director of Alchemy, said: “Becoming Watford Football Club’s official partner is a great thrill and responsibility. As a global trading and investing platform, we’re excited for the opportunity to introduce trading to an enthusiastic audience.”
Alchemy Markets offers trading services with Forex and CFDs of several asset classes. It strategically inked the sports sponsorship just ahead of the launch of its mobile trading app that is scheduled for launch in the fourth quarter of 2021.
Brokers and Sports Deals
Meanwhile, the demand for sports deals keeps rising within the trading industry. Brokers like eToro, Swissquote and ThinkMarkets have partnered with top sports clubs to promote their branding.
Watford FC itself entered into a deal with the crypto betting platform, Stake.com, agreeing to put the Dogecoin logo on its team’s shirts.
