Alpari Posts Global January Volume Figures

After posting record volume numbers for its Russian division, Alpari has announced global figures for January. For the month, Alpari total volume of $210 billion. With the RU unit composing of $110 billion of the broker's total, clients from Russia and the CIS have become the majority of activity for Alpari.

In our Q4 Industry Report, we had estimated Alpari’s monthly average at $145 billion which was around a 10% drop from Q3 levels. Commenting on the rise in trading volume, Daniel Skowronski, Chief Executive Officer, Alpari (UK) stated that the broker saw gains in its institutional offerings as well as saying . “With higher volatility in the markets in January, our clients were able to use our trading packages to the full. This is further evidence of our global strength and breadth as a leading Forex broker.”

The broker also restated recent announcements at the company which included the launch of the TraderConnect social trading network and the sponsorship of West Ham United.
