Now Alpari is now entering an entirely new sponsorship sphere with the extreme sport of quad-bike racing (also known as ATVs, or all-terrain vehicles). The broker has announced that it is backing some of the stages of the 'Can-Am X Race', Russia's version of the Paris Dakar Rally for ATVs.

The Series RZR CAMP has existed since 2008 and over ten years it has acquired a large number of loyal fans, Alpari explains. The first stage will be held on May 13-14 in Kazan, Russia. The brokerage adds that it is enthusiastic about the prospects of a mutually beneficial cooperation, because of such qualities as courage in decision-making and the pursuit of goals, which characterize both quad racers and traders around the world.

Last week Alpari made an announcement to its clients that the brokerage will be adding some new currency pairs and metals to its portfolio. Traders will be able to take advantage of the Turkish lira via trading USD/TRY, EUR/TRY, GBP/TRY and TRY/JPY. In addition to the Turkish lira, Alpari is also enabling the trading of gold and silver via the euro, the British pound, the Australian dollar and the Swiss franc.
