As sports sponsorships remain one of the most attractive Marketing tactics for brokers, EverFX announced on Thursday the extension of its partnership with Spanish football giant, Sevilla FC.

With this, the Cyprus-based retail FX broker has partnered with the football club for the third consecutive year.

Commenting on the partnership extension, EverFX CEO, Georgios Karoullas said: “We are indeed very excited about the renewal with Sevilla for the third time! The collaboration has been excellent from the very beginning, and it’s amazing to have found a group of people with the same mentality and ethics.”

Sponsoring a Top Football Club

Sevilla FC is one of the top Spanish football clubs, and it has continuously ended up in the top of the La Liga tables. The club is the current Europa League champions and has qualified for the upcoming 2020/21 Champions League season as well.

Last year, the logo of the broker featured on the shorts of Sevilla’s first team, however, the nature of the extended sponsorship deal was not revealed. The financials of the deal is also not known.

“What started off as a collaboration between two entities with the same values, has evolved into something bigger than that. This feels more than just a sponsorship, and we feel very proud of Sevilla’s accomplishments. We are very happy to be part of this journey together,” Karoullas added.

The football club also inked a deal with online sports betting operator, Betway to become the lead shirt sponsor for the next season, according to local newspapers. This came as another bookmaker, Marathonbet, reportedly exited as the shirt sponsor despite a two years deal till the end of the upcoming season.
