The sponsorship deal between FXPRIMUS and Manchester City has come to an end, the company has confirmed to Finance Magnates. According to one of the biggest deal makers in the sports partnerships for brokers, Sports Media Gaming, the deal has been evaluated at $1.5 million during the course of a year and a half, starting in 2015.
After thoroughly reviewing its Marketing strategy FXPRIMUS has decided to halt the partnership. Commenting to Finance Magnates, a spokesperson stated: “The partnership came at an optimal time for the company, as at the same time, we established our global headquarters in Cyprus and received our CySEC license - which all owe to the tremendous growth and reputation we have gained to date.”
FXPRIMUS has decided to shift its marketing strategy towards the main aspects of the firm’s product.
“Some of the exciting things that we will be launching soon include new Safety mechanisms to improve our clients trading experience, our new PAMM platform and Q&A style Educational video series by Marshall Gittler, our Head of Investment Research,” the spokesperson for the brokerage elaborated.
FXPRIMUS is currently not planning a different sponsorship deal, however the firm’s spokesperson confided the views of the company on sports partnerships for FX companies.
“As with any sponsorship, being associated with globally recognized company and brand gains access to a new market. In the case of Manchester City that client base are football fans. Football sponsorships offer great exposure and an ideal way to gain global brand awareness,” the spokesperson concluded.
