FXC releases October 2010 volume survey results

The Foreign Exchange Committee launched its inaugural Survey of North American Foreign Exchange Volume in October 2004 in order to provide the market with frequent information on the size and structure of foreign exchange activity in North America.

FXC just released its latest survey from October 2010. All in all Forex volumes are up %14.4 mostly thanks to a tremendous growth in forex options and forward transactions. On the other hand spot trading has only grown by %4.4 which is quite disturbing.
