Mario Luis Sánchez-Wandemberg, Managing Director and Head of Institutional Sales, FXCM Pro
FXCM Group on Friday announced that it is promoting Mario Luis Sánchez-Wandemberg to Global Head of FXCM Pro Sales. The news comes as the company appears to be recommitting efforts to its institutional business services.
Sánchez-Wandemberg will also serve as Managing Director after spending over seven years with FXCM. He joined the company in 2011 and held a variety of sales based positions.
Sánchez-Wandemberg has contributed to the development of the FXCM Pro services throughout the years. His vast knowledge of the institutional side of the industry after spending over 15 years of his career in the institutional segment made him a key player in the growth of FXCM Pro.
Before joining FXCM, Sánchez-Wandemberg was in the institutional sales division of CMC Markets.
Revamped FXCM Product Suite
FXCM Pro is the institutional arm of FXCM. The unit has been providing services to retail brokers, small hedge funds and emerging market banks. The company is preparing to roll out some new features to the service.
FXCM’s Pro service is delivering access to wholesale Execution and Liquidity . High and medium frequency funds also are getting access to prime brokerage services via FXCM Prime.
Commenting on the company’s move, the CCO of FXCM Group, Siju Daniel, stated: “I am confident that our revamped product suite along with our seasoned executives including Mario, Mohammed Khan, Managing Director of FXCM Pro Operations and Client Services and Justin Boulton, Managing Director, FXCM Prime, will continue to grow FXCM’s institutional department. We look forward to making additional announcements and enhancements to our institutional offering in the coming weeks.”
