FxPro is known for offering pretty useful and advanced Forex trading platforms and was one of the first to offer mobile trading. It also offers a web based version of Metatrader, although I'm not sure how many actually prefer over the goold old desktop Metatrader. However, for some reason the iPhone app was a bit late to appear - we've seen several brokers offer iPhone based trading in the past few months (FXCM here and ForexYard here).
Nonetheless, the iPhone platform FxPro just launched seems quite nice. It's handy, supports almost all iPhone and iPad models and comes equipped with lots of features such as: opening, closing and modifying positions and orders, access to all major instruments, including FX precious metals, indices, commodities and shares and 5 Menu options at the bottom of every screen:
Favorites – your favorite market quotes can be stored and then referred to quickly and easily
Rates – shows you FxPro’s list of all tradable instruments
Positions – all your order details: open positions, balances and pending orders
History – shows your trading history, giving you the ability to monitor your previous orders and funds within any given timeframe
More - access the other available functions of the platform, and also edit other functions in order to have the information displayed in the way that you want.
Key factors in mobile trading of course are the connectivity issues - Cellular internet is still isn't as good or as reliable as your internet connection at home or work. Moreover, there is a question how well does this synchronize with the desktop/web platforms (if at all) - as you don't want to run two different accounts, one for mobile and one for a desktop.
