HotForex, a foreign exchange (Forex ) and contracts for difference (CFD) broker, has announced this Wednesday that it has formed a sports sponsorship in the gaming space.

With esports becoming increasingly common, the FX broker has teamed up with Santos e-Sports, a large electronic sports clubs and the official esports division of Santos FC, one of the biggest football clubs in the world, according to the statement released today.

The partnership between HotForex and Santos e-Sports will last for one year. Under the agreement, the team will become Santos HotForex e-Sport. In addition to the name change, a combined logo will be displayed in all of the upcoming tournaments of the gaming club, which will bring increased brand awareness to the Forex Broker .

Commenting on the partnership, HotForex Chief Executive Officer George Koumantaris said in the statement: “We see a lot of parallels between trading and the fascinating world of esports, and look forward to exploring how realistic goal setting, effective emotional control and the right mindset can help players both on the field and in the market.”
