Australian broker Invast Financial Services has landed a new Director of Institutional Liquidity Sales, appointing Geoff Last in its Sydney office.

Mr. Last joins Invast after a lengthy stint at some of the industry’s leading financial institutions. Prior to working at Invast, he served as the Head of FX Institutional Sale and Professional Traders at Axicorp for over four years.

He has also held other senior level roles at such firms as Eric Australia, Kinetic Securities, HotspotFX, Citibank, and Westpac, dating back to 1977. The financial services veteran will remain with the Sydney office, focusing on liquidity sales with a specific focus on Invast’s institutional client base, according to information on his Linkedin profile.

Last week, Invast made headlines after releasing its revenues and margin volumes for the month ending March 2015, which were highlighted by mounting MoM operating revenues.
