Plus500 announced today that it has become the main sponsor of Legia Warsaw, a professional football club based in Warsaw, for the 2020/21 season. As part of the sponsorship, the broker’s logo will appear on the front of the players’ jerseys.

Legia Warsaw is the current football champion in Poland. With today’s announcement, they become the third European football club to be added to the London-listed broker’s sponsorship portfolio.

The agreement between Plus500 and the Polish football club will commence at the beginning of the 2020/21 football season and will last for a two year period. The current agreement has the option to be extended for another year.

As part of the agreement, the broker’s logo will appear on the front of the club’s official jersey and training shirts for both national and overseas matches. The agreement also gives the broker access to a range of branding rights.

Plus500 Adds to Its Sports Sponsorship Portfolio

The logo of Fortuna Zakłady Bukmacherskie will be moved to the reverse side of the jersey, replacing the logo of the Królewskie brand, which has been shifted to the sleeve for the season.

Plus500 currently has its longstanding partnership with Spanish football club Atlético Madrid, of which it is the main sponsor. The firm also sponsors BSC Young Boys Football Club and Plus500, Brumbies rugby club in Australia.
