Polish firm TMS Brokers announced the launch of a new mobile application this Thursday. The application allows users to access brokers services via their mobile phone.
“Mobility is answering to the needs of investors, who want to have does not indicate access to global markets anywhere at any time,” said the broker in a statement. “Following those trends, TMS Brokers launches an application for mobile trading.”
Traders can use the new application to invest on smartphones in currencies, Cryptocurrencies , indexes and raw materials.
The app also allows users to follow popular instruments and track investor sentiment. As with the TMS Brokers desktop platform, those features are available without additional fees.
The TMS Brokers Competition
To promote the new application, TMS Brokers is also running a trading competition. Anyone that wants to partake in the competition must download the application and, after filling in their details, register for it.
Unlike other promotional efforts, this competition doesn’t - at least according to TMS Brokers’ statement - require a deposit.
After registering for the competition, traders only have to use the demo version of the application in order to win.
Although the broker only announced the launch of its new application this Thursday, the competition actually started on Monday. Thursday’s statement gives no indication as to how many people are already taking part in it.
There will be three rounds to the competition, each one lasting a week. At the end of each week, winning traders will be able to win up to 500 euros ($570). There is also a main prize up for grabs - an iPhone XS.
Mobile applications are becoming increasingly popular for brokers as more and more retail traders have demanded them. Younger, more tech-savvy traders, in particular, have been quick to sign up to services such as Robinhood in the US or BUX in Europe.
