Trading Technologies International, Inc. announced this Thursday that it has contracted with SBI Thai Online, a subsidiary of SBI Group, and a broker based in Bangkok.

The partnership will see Trading Technologies, which is a global provider of high-performance professional trading software, distribute its Trading Platform to the broker’s client base.

Under the agreement, SBI Thai Online will provide its international clients access to the Thailand Futures Exchange (TFEX) via the exchange’s proprietary EMAPI API from within TFEX’s SET Data Center in Bangkok.

In particular, the online client base of SBI Thai will be able to access Trading Technologies’ platform’s range of professional trading tools, including Autospreader, ADL, and APIs.

Commenting on the partnership, Mark Pottle, Regional Executive Sales Director for Trading Technologies in Asia, said: “We are thrilled SBI has chosen TT as a solution to extend to their clients."

“As we expand into what are new markets for TT and exchanges such as TFEX, having the endorsement of local brokers like SBI, who are the experts in their region, is important. It allows us to bring our technologies to a brand new set of customers and extend the reach and interest in the Asian markets as a whole out to our wider international clients.”

The partnership announced today appears to be a follow up from the software company partnering with the TFEX. As Finance Magnates reported, the software provider partnered with the Thailand exchange to launch colocated Execution and client connectivity services to TFEX.

“We think it’s important to introduce new tools and technologies to our clients and empower them with what other trading communities have been taking advantage of. Offering the TT platform to our clients brings some simple benefits such as faster speed to market as well as the opportunity to explore new ideas in trading, algorithmic trading or other ways which have not been so easily available to date,” added Yukiko Roberts, CEO of SBI Thai Online.
