Following a short interlude of hires at interdealer broker (IDB) Tullett Prebon, the group has hired Andrew Kolchins as its newest Managing Director, Environmental Products, according to a Tullett Prebon statement.
In his new role as the managing director at Tullett Prebon, Mr. Kolchins will be based out of New York, where he will be reporting to Christopher W. Grosso, the group’s Senior Managing Director, America, Energy & Commodities.
Mr. Kolchins joins Tullett Prebon from Titan Energy Markets having operated as its principal owner of its operations, whilst serving in a similar role as Managing Director of Renewable Energy Markets.
In addition, at Tullett Prebon he will work to foster the group’s global environmental markets business, working in tandem with traders, developers, and financiers of various environmental products.
According to Christopher W. Grosso, Senior Managing Director, Head of North America, Energy and Commodities in a recent statement on the hire, “I am delighted that Andrew has agreed to join the energy team at Tullett Prebon. Renewables is a fast-growing segment of the energy brokerage market and Andrew’s unparalleled expertise in the renewable energy credit (REC) markets will further boost our energy offering to our clients.”
