In an effort to boost marketing with sports sponsorship, CFI Financial Group has inked a partnership deal with the popular Italian football club AC Milan. The sponsorship deal has earned the broker the status of AC Milan’s Official Online Trading Partner.

A Major Football Deal for a Broker

The official press release today (Thursday) mentioned that the sponsorship deal will result in offering “unique opportunities” to the football clubs’ global fan base and “exclusive experiences and promotions tailored for CFI clients and AC Milan supporters alike.” However, the proper scope of the partnership remains unclear.

“Our collaboration goes beyond traditional sponsorship, representing a shared vision for excellence and progress,” said Maikel Oettle, the Chief Commercial Officer of AC Milan. “This new deal with CFI is a testament to AC Milan's global footprint, with the new Casa Milan Dubai office being pivotal in cultivating new relationships in the Middle East such as this one.”

A Top European Football Club

When it comes to football in Europe, AC Milan is one of the top names. It is one of the dominant teams in the competitive domestic league in Italy and additionally top of the pan-European leagues. With a history of over a century, some of the big names in football played for the club and won both domestic and international trophies.

Based out of Milan (from where the club derived its name), the club's home stadium, San Siro, has a maximum capacity of more than 80,000 attendees, meaning any branding in the stadium will put the sponsors in front of a massive fan base.

When it comes to sports sponsorship, CFI is a seasoned player. The broker strengthened its brand in its core Middle East market by sponsoring basketball and football teams in Jordan. It further inked football sponsorships with England’s Sheffield United last year and promoted the brand through sponsorship in tennis and motorsports.
