Today (Monday), MetaQuotes, the force behind the MetaTrader trading platforms, commemorates its 23rd anniversary. The company reviews a year of advancements in services for its clients.

Platform Development

According to the firm, notable developments include the refined MetaTrader 5 iOS and MetaTrader 5 Android mobile terminals, elevating the overall trading experience. The web terminal underwent key updates, introducing diverse color schemes and streamlining the setup process for brokers.

Furthermore, the company unveiled native MetaTrader 5 installers for macOS and Linux, providing stable trading experiences. Detailed reports on trading activities were integrated into MetaTrader 5 Desktop, enhancing transparency and comprehension, with plans to extend this feature to mobile terminals for iOS and Android users.

The Sponsored VPS service underwent enhancements, allowing brokers to offer MetaTrader VPS to clients at no cost. The payments service in MetaTrader 5 desktop now facilitates fund top-ups, with future plans to include additional payment service providers. A new inclusion to the suite of offerings is the MQL5 Channels mobile application, providing various free channels where traders share forecasts and analytics.

Renat Fatkhullin, the CEO of MetaQuotes, commented: "I would like to thank traders and brokers for choosing our applications. Special thanks to those who provide us with feedback, and helped us to further improve our software. Rest assured, you are also contributing to the ongoing development of the MetaTrader 5 platform.”

MetaTrader 5 Beta Web Terminal in 24 Languages

Finance Magnates reported earlier that MetaQuotes was set to release the beta version of the MetaTrader 5 trading platform, introducing several noteworthy features. Scheduled for Friday, the beta build 3770 includes an AI-powered coding assistant, integration with Copilot, enabling faster and more efficient code writing in MetaEditor. The coding assistant works with MQL4 and MQL5 programming languages, offering MQL5 implementation suggestions based on natural language trading ideas.

The platform update also has introduced the Book or Cancel Orders feature, restricting order placement to the Depth of Market tool for passive trading. This ensures orders cannot be immediately executed upon placement, preserving current liquidity.

Enhanced support for Open Neural Network Exchange (ONNX) machine learning models is a highlight of the beta version. This improved support facilitates operations with machine learning models based on the open-source ONNX format, developed by Facebook and Microsoft. Users can open these models directly in MetaEditor or the specialized Netron viewer.

The web terminal of the beta version showcases balance transactions and totals in the history section and is available in 24 languages. Additional features include an improved market security system, fixed display errors in the two-factor authentication dialogue, and resolution of trading report creation errors. The final build will follow the public beta test, according to MetaQuotes.
