As the markets of Asia grow in importance, brokers and providers are focusing more on the region's favorite instrument, gold. Hybrid Solutions, the Jordan headquartered developer behind the VertexFX multi-asset Trading Platform , has launched an online brokerage solution for brands wanting to offer global bullion investing.
The technology provider has incorporated a new functionality enabling gold dealers to offer bullion to investors through its simple and easy to use Vertex FX trading platform with real-time pricing, flexible delivery conditions and round the clock trading. The online bullion feature is a custom made add-on that now comes as standard for all brokers offering the Vertex FX platform.
Akram Majed, CEO of Hybrid Solutions, said: "We recognised the need for bullion trading; the current investment landscape has evolved significantly since 2008 and increased demand from our clients, particularly in growth markets like Hong Kong and Dubai."
Functionality
Derivatives dealers who are diversifying their product streams with physical offerings can now take advantage of the new functionality, which has simple settings and configuration in the back-end of the software. Similarly, investors who intend to purchase bullion through the platform can set their price and delivery parameters through the terminal with one-click trading.
Speaking with Finance Magnates, a Hybrid Solutions' representative explained that, if the broker implements the functionality with a metal Exchange - traders can access metal delivery. If the broker is implements it with a Bullion exchange - traders can trade bullion. "It’s all a matter of what the broker connects his dealing room with. It's offers an open functionality."
Mr. Majed believes that investors in Europe are keen to enter bullion investing however lack the necessary tools and access to the product. Data from the world gold council shows that consumption is up in Asia, and in markets such as the UK there is up to £4 billion in physical metals investment. Mr. Majed added: "VertexFX offers users the ability to make informed investment decisions through the platform in real-time thus locking the price they want to deal at."
The new capabilities have been included in the latest update of its platform, which has a number of other new enhancements. In July, Hybrid Solutions enhanced its product capabilities by incorporating binary options in the same single interface they use for FX and CFDs.
