The clone firm has chosen AMC Capital Invest due to the fact that it has been authorized to operate within the UK. The original company is based in France, offering asset management, loans, real estate, and life insurance.
The copycat company has adopted the name of the original company, as well as its address at 22 Passage Du Genie, Paris, 75012, France. The FCA warns that this is a typical move for a scam companiy to gain the trust of unsuspecting clients.
The FCA strongly advises against signing up, funding an account, or getting tied up with this company in any way. The FCA has expressed concern that this company might be running or involved in a scam, as it is using illegal methods to solicit its clients.
In addition, the FCA makes it crystal clear that the clone firm is not authorized to approach clients living in the UK, nor is it legally allowed to offer and provide financial services of any kind.
On Tuesday, the FCA warned UK based traders regarding the unauthorized operation run by Zurich Capital, a management solutions provider for investment purposes. The Switzerland-based company has not registered with the British regulatory authority, and its conduct is found to be in violation of the law of the UK.
