The European brokerage firm RoboMarkets has announced the extension of its premium partnership with BMW M Motorsport for the 2024-2025 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) seasons.

It's worth highlighting that the broker has been cooperating with the motorsports team since 2019, providing RoboMarkets with brand exposure in the popular racing series in Germany.

RoboMarkets and BMW M Motorsport Extend Partnership for 2024-2025 DTM Seasons

The BMW M4 GT3 race car will sport the RoboMarkets logo on its bonnet, doors, roof, and boot lips as part of the sponsorship deal between the European brokerage firm and BMW M Motorsport. The agreement also includes RoboMarkets branding on media stands and team garage walls throughout the 2024-2025 DTM seasons.

The first contract extension between BMW M Motorsport and RoboMarkets took place in mid-2021. Finance Magnates reported on another extension in 2023. At that time, René Rast, the experienced German driver joined the team and continued to race with car number 33.

"The backing of BMW M Motorsport partners like RoboMarkets is crucial to our success. We had a strong 2023 season, with a victory at the Red Bull Ring and several podium finishes,” Rast said, expressing his gratitude for the continued support. "We'll build on that foundation and strive for even greater achievements in the upcoming seasons."

The 36-year-old driver is a member of the Schubert Motorsport team and is regarded as one of the most skilled and adaptable drivers in Germany. He has clinched the DTM championship three times: in 2017, 2019, and 2020. Rast started his racing career in Formula BMW in 2003 and 2004 and participated in BMW M3 DTM tests in 2011, prior to BMW M Motorsport's comeback to the DTM series.

The 2024 DTM season will feature eight races across Germany, the Netherlands, and Austria, showcasing the skills of top drivers and the capabilities of cutting-edge race cars. RoboMarkets and BMW M Motorsport are embarking on their fifth season of collaboration, continuing their journey of partnership.

Motorsport, Not Just Football

RoboMarkets' prolonged collaboration with BMW demonstrates that interesting disciplines exist beyond football in the world of brokerage and sports promotion.

This is also evidenced by the agreement made in February this year between Vantage Markets and the NEOM McLaren Extreme E racing team for a third consecutive year. Initiated in 2022, the partnership between the UK-based Vantage and the NEOM McLaren team is built on a "shared commitment towards innovation." In line with this, Vantage and McLaren have engaged in philanthropic activities, such as the Vantage Foundation, which funds sustainability projects with proceeds from auctions of the race team's used equipment and branded merchandise.

While brokers primarily leverage football for promotions, motorsports have increasingly become a target for such sponsorships, starting with XTB's pioneering sponsorship of an F1 team 12 years ago.

Popular sports among brokers

It's no coincidence that motorsport is the second most popular discipline among brokers, right after football.
