Swissquote, which operates as a broker with a Swiss banking license, has disclosed the extension of its collaboration with the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League for an additional three seasons.
Swissquote Deepens Ties with UEFA
Expressing anticipation for the augmented match days brought about by the new competition format, Swissquote aims to partake in the fervor surrounding these events. The ongoing partnership is anticipated to bolster Swissquote's brand recognition throughout Europe and foster stronger bonds with its clientele. As part of the sponsorship agreement, Swissquote will enjoy perimeter advertising and hospitality privileges at all 342 games per season, alongside concerted efforts in social media and online marketing.
"Our partnership with UEFA has already significantly enhanced Swissquote's brand awareness throughout Europe, transforming fans into loyal customers. Extending this agreement ensures the continuation of our success," said Swissquote's CEO, Marc Bürki. "Football stands for passionate competition, the pursuit of triumph, and the spirit of enthusiasm shared by all. These are values that align perfectly with our company and our partnership with customers. We are thrilled to renew our support for their favourite teams and meet them at the stadium."
Swissquote's Continued Sponsorship
Having initially forged an exclusive partnership with UEFA in 2021 for a duration of three years, Swissquote, the leading online bank in Switzerland, has experienced notable growth both domestically and across European markets. The extensive media coverage afforded to the two leagues across the continent has significantly contributed to Swissquote's strides in international expansion.
Guy-Laurent Epstein, the Marketing Director of the UEFA, said: "We are excited to continue having Swissquote as a sponsor of the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League for the new competition cycle, which will feature the new league phase format. Our partnership has proven successful for all sides, so we are very pleased to continue working together as we embark on the next phase of our journey."
