Advent Software, Inc., a global solutions and services provider for investment firms, has announced an agreement to fortify its cloud-based Black Diamond platform with TD Ameritrade’s Veo Trading Platform , according to an Advent company statement.
TD Ameritrade Continues to Make Splash with Platform Integration
The integration between the Veo platform with Advent’s Black Diamond looks to foster greater efficiency measures via automation, workflow management, data sharing and real-time dissemination of balances, quotes and trading information. TD Ameritrade has a history of multi-faceted trading platforms, including its ThinkOrSwim platform rolled out last year, which specializes in Forex , options and futures trading.
According to Dave Welling, SVP and General Manager, Black Diamond, "With more than 600 shared clients, we are looking forward to being able to provide an even better experience for our clients by expanding our longstanding relationship with TD Ameritrade, Inc. Advent believes in open architecture and deep integration between our platforms, custodians and other third party technologies. We understand the importance of collaborating with other key technology providers to empower advisors, so we are very excited about this collaboration with TD Ameritrade, Inc. and the benefits it will offer our mutual clients."
Enhanced Access Across Asset Classes
Indeed, the Black Diamond platform’s offering of cloud-based portfolio management, coupled with Veo, will strengthen the way traders and clients make decisions and execute operations. The partnership will cater to a multitude of asset classes, which should help streamline everyday investor execution.
"We are excited to provide enhanced access to Veo® through Advent Software's leading portfolio management and reporting platforms. The platform's open access capabilities in combination with Advent's flexible platforms will allow the hundreds of clients we share to operate more efficiently and provide a more scalable foundation needed to grow their businesses," noted Jon Patullo, Managing Director of Technology and Product Management at TD Ameritrade Institutional in a recent statement.
