CQG Launches Upgraded Mobile Platform, Equipped With New Trading Tools

CQG, a trading technology platform developer, has strengthened its mobile offering CQG M, including several upgrades to its existing module designed to help streamline trading capabilities for retail traders, according to a CQG release.

CQG M serves as the group’s mobile product for on-the-go access to quotes, Analytics , and trading. The platform itself is HTML5-based and already features a wide range of functions, ranging from technical analysis to data streaming.

The platform today also utilizes a number of upgraded features, which now includes technical analysis tools – the offering includes CQG’s Volume Comparison Widget, which now improves volume information. In addition, CQG M also includes Order Study on Charts, as well as comprehensive utility for its other charts, such as interactive trading buttons and the HOT trading interface.

CQG M is available in the app store, while the HTML5 version of CQG M is also available on the desktop format, which will eventually be rebranded as a desktop Trading Platform . In early 2017, CQG is also planning to launch CQG M for iOS, as well as a fully functioning version for Android devices.

According to Marcus Kwan, Vice President of Product Strategy and Design, in a recent statement on the upgrades: “We continue to see customer excitement about our HTML5 platform. As we continue to collaborate with our customers, we’re able to rapidly iterate and innovate. For example, the Volume Comparison widget is an exciting development for CQG data visualization and technical analysis that we’ve not seen in the marketplace.”

“We’ve learned a lot over the past couple of years with HTML5. Good architecture and design have enabled us to scale quickly to meet customer demand and build a platform for the future. We’re excited to launch the version of CQG M for iOS and Android,” Mr. Kwan added.
