Spotware Systems has today launched a new website which throws the gauntlet open for public public proposals for new features and ideas which could be considered for implementation within the company's cTrader platform.
In terms of functionality, the vote.spotware.com site is open to all users, following the rationale behind the firm's cTrader Developers Network (cTDN) open forum in which software engineers can upload their own software offerings including technical indicators and robots which are compatible with Spotware Systems' cAlgo direct-access algorithmic Trading Platform .
Suggestions are submitted by users directly to the new site, which are listed with a title and text explaining the suggested development or feature, on which other users can then place their votes as to the viability and usefulness of the idea, thus strengthening the notion that platform providers and technology firms alike are continuing to forge a path of customization and user-led design.
X Open Hub's recent rebrand in order to instill the importance of the open nature of the system, and with rival platform tradable placing emphasis on its application-based design.
With regard to the new site, Ilya Holeu, Managing Director of Spotware Systems explained to Forex Magnates today that "At Spotware we do everything we can to translate our motto, 'Traders First', into more than just words. This new page gives us and users of our platforms a real view of what feature demands are most popular."
"Frequent visitors are sure to see some of the features they voted for implemented, and because we know it's sometimes easy to forget even a simple URL, we've made it accessible from a number of areas within the platform. Our development cycle is driven first and foremost by user feedback, so this tool goes some way towards helping us as well as traders themselves" concluded Mr. Holeu.
