Fortex, Inc., an electronic communication network (ECN) Trading Platform , has teamed up with broker-dealer Global Derivative Capital Markets NZ Limited (GDMFX), forging a technology partnership that will propagate Fortex’s MT4 Web Trader solution to GDMFX's worldwide clientele, according to a Fortex statement.
The new partnership between the two venues focuses on an uptick in global demand for web and mobile trading solutions, given the disposition of such a trend across the foreign exchange (FX) industry.
As a provider of a wide range of trading solutions across several asset classes, GDMFX has opted to integrate Fortex’s Web Trader utility in an attempt to grow and foment its trading volumes, which caters to a more mobile-focused client base. As a result of the partnership, GDMFX’s customized Web Trader will work on Mac OSX, Linux, Windows, iOS and Android platforms.
Fortex’s Web Platform was targeted by GDMFX given its compatibility and versatility across multiple asset classes, which includes FX, precious metals and contracts-for-difference (CFDs).
According to Natallia Hunik, Global Head of Sales at Fortex, in a recent statement on the partnership, “Mobile devices, in combination with cloud phenomena, have been transforming the FX industry in many ways. They are allowing traders to have access to their critical financial data anywhere anytime. The alliance with GDMFX will strengthen our momentum in bringing innovative modern Web trading technology to the FX trading community.”
“GDMFX is a progressive broker committed to continuing to innovate and streamline the workflow of our clients. We are delighted to put crucial trading information at users’ fingertips via the Fortex MT4 Webtrader, which opens up significantly more trading opportunities and enables clients take greater advantage of currency moves,” added Kiril Tsenkov, Manager of the European Division at GDMFX, in an accompanying statement.
Back in June, Fortex made headlines after partnering with Advanced Markets to focus on prime-of-prime services (PoP) and a complete turnkey FX brokerage solution. The fully hosted packages included a branded MT4 platform hosted in the NY4 and HK3 Equinix data centers, web MT4 platform and Fortex MT4 Bridge OMX.
