Gold-i, a trading systems integration specialist for the financial services industry, continues to enhance its services around digital assets and partnered with Modus.Trade to enter the cryptocurrency fund management sector.
According to the press release shared with Finance Magnates, Gold-i will manage Modus.Trade's entire technology infrastructure that includes providing access to crypto market makers and clearing using the Gold-i Crypto Switch™ 2.0.
Moreover, it will support Modus.Trade’s MT5 trading platform .
“Our partnership with Modus.Trade… takes our offering to a whole new market segment,” said Tom Higgins, the Chief Executive Officer at Gold-i.
“We see a huge opportunity in this sector, with Gold-i becoming the technology provider of choice for organisations launching crypto funds, connecting them to market makers and clearinghouses, and managing their entire technology infrastructure.”
Big Clients
Modus.Trade, which is a crypto fund and online trading platform, primarily targets fund managers, financial institutions, family offices and high net worth individuals as its clients. Demand for its services surged in recent months as monthly trading volume on its platform surpassed $500 million.
Nathan Sage, the Founder and CEO at Modus.Trade, said: “As part of our ongoing focus on adding value to clients, we wanted to enhance our liquidity and technology offering. We originally accessed crypto market makers and technology through a broker but, as we grew, were unable to access the large ticket sizes we needed. With Gold-i as our technology partner, this is no longer an issue.”
“We now have access to large ticket sizes, a wide choice of market makers and better pricing and, by having our own MT5 server, can also provide clients with enhanced performance.”
Meanwhile, crypto remained one of the key focus areas for Gold-i. Last year, the company enhanced its cryptocurrency offerings with the integration of Bitfinex liquidity and CryptoCortex’s product suite.
