Hybrid Solutions, an online trading platforms provider, announced the launch of the beta version of its VertexFX11 software today. The Cloud -based Trading Platform is the company’s core product and is used by brokers, dealing rooms, and exchanges.

As noted, this is the beta launch of the service, not the official launch. The beta version of VertexFX11 will be available as a demo version for Hybrid Solutions’ current clients.

Hybrid Solutions attached a warning to their announcement noting that, as the product is in beta stage, it is still subject to bugs and errors. The company is encouraging users to notify the firm of any bugs or errors that they experience when using the software.

Old and the new

The new software will provide a number of new services to clients. For example, traders can perform a back-test on automated trading solutions. In effect, this means they can trial run them without having to put their cash on the line.

As with other trading platforms providers, such as MetaTrader, the new service will allow for application programming interfaces (APIs). These APIs enable users of the service to make additions to Hybrid Solutions’ software so that they can tailor the trading platform to suit their needs.

Hybrid Solutions also lists a number of additional features that will be present on the new software. Many of these, such as social media posting, trading signals capabilities and multi-account management solutions, will already be familiar to users of the company’s existing software.

Today’s announcement did not state when the software is set to be released properly. Hybrid Solutions’ has been touting the new software for over six months, so one would hope that it will be released soon.
