Leverate announced to Forex Magnates today that social trading functionality is now a part of the Sirix Mobile platform available to its brokers. This new addition allows traders to use features such as copy trading which are already built into the web platform for mobile devices.
Avi Ventura, Leverate Sirix Product Manager commented on the announcement: βWe are excited to give our brokers the ability to offer social trading to mobile traders. Copy trading has been a key driver of increased trading volumes on the Sirix Web platform, and we expect our brokers will see similar results with Sirix Mobile.β
As more and more traders choose to use mobile phones and tablets to access their FX accounts, brokers have put an emphasis on mobile platform development in recent years. Integrating social and copy trading, which is considered a good way to create client engagement and increased trading, did not lag far behind. In August 2013, eToro which brands itself as a social network, launched an app for copy trading on mobile devices.
Forex Magnates has tested the new feature of Leverate's mobile platform and the HTML5 design seems to be solid and slick, it was fast to respond and no connection problems were observed over wifi.
Users can create a Sirix Social Community profile while logged into their trading account on their iOS or Android phones. Users can then review the social profiles of other community members to find "Top" traders to follow and copy, by viewing the detailed statistics about each traderβs P/L, portfolio and trading history.
The new release also includes a complete redesign of the Sirix Mobile social stream. Users can view a constantly updated list of the most successful traders directly from the mobile platform, along with a running log of the latest trades that have been placed. Additionally, Sirix Social Community members will be able to monitor their own trading performance via an integrated shortcut to their personal profile.
