MetaQuotes has been pushing its MetaTrader 5 suite for some time now, with the latest version of the software complimenting the company’s Android and iOS native apps.
Mobile Web Platform
On first glance the software does not look very useful for traders that have Android and iOS devices, since they can already access the mobile apps. Cross-platform compatibility could enable users that have other devices, widely used in emerging markets to also access their accounts on mobile.
Companies like Nokia and Microsoft have been at the forefront of making cheap phones with internet connectivity. Other device makers have been relying on Google’s Android and other open source operating systems.
The deployment of the beta of MetaTrader 5 Web is another step in the commitment of MetaQuotes to the platform’s further development. Last year, the software developer announced that the firm is going to suspend the addition of new features to MetaTrader 4. Later the company increased support fees for its legacy platform that is still the most popular solution for retail Forex traders worldwide.
The interface of the new mobile web platform from MetaQuotes is similar to the one found on the company's native Android in iOS trading apps.
