The new version of MT5 is available immediately and follows on the heels of a previous price history build update that augmented a similar function for iOS users last month. The new upgrade gives a broader view into pricing data, which will ultimately lead into the launch of custom data-feed functions. MetaQuotes also unveiled plans to roll out a platform that will help construct charts based on users' price data, derived from a multitude of user-defined specifications.

MetaQuotes latest build also helps shore up the PositionSelect function, which had occasionally inadvertently selected a position different to the one with the lowest ticket number. Additionally, errors in the fixed operation of the CopyTicks and CopyTicksRange functions when requesting very deep tick history data were also remedied with the upgrade.
